35 40 001 Removing and installing or replacing accelerator pedal module (Countryman base FWD, Countryman S FWD, Countryman base ALL4 AWD, Countryman S ALL4 AWD, Countryman JCW ALL4 AWD)

Removal: 

Take off cover (1).

Lift the accelerator pedal module (1) approx. 2 cm at the bottom to feed it out of the holder (2).

Push the accelerator pedal module (1) out of the holder (3) in the arrow direction (diagonally upwards).

Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove accelerator pedal module.

Installation: 

Connect plug connection (1).

Attention! 

Risk of damage! 

Do not pinch the wiring harness between the holder (2) and accelerator pedal module!

Install cables "invisibly"!

First insert the accelerator pedal module (1) into the holder (2) at the top in the arrow direction.

Then align in holder (3) at the bottom.

There is a positioning pin on the bottom of the accelerator pedal module that enables correct alignment.

Insert and tighten the hexagon socket bolt.

Tightening torque 35 40 1AZ .

Insert cover (1).
