51 45 380 Removing and installing (replacing) right decorative strip on dashboard (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove CENTRAL INSTRUMENT .

Removal: 

Lever out the decorative strip (1) from the outside and remove from the clamps (2).

Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.

Installation: 

Replacement:

Remount the CONTROL PANEL OF THE HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM .

Connect the corresponding plug connections to the decorative strip (1).

Engage decorative strip (1) at the clamps (2).
