64 11 376 Removing and installing (replacing) control panel for heating and air conditioning system (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Preliminary work needed:

Removal:

Unscrew the screws (1).

Detach the control panel of the air conditioning (3) from the detents (2).

Remove the control panel of the air conditioning (3) from the decorative strip of the dashboard (4).

Installation:

Install the control panel of the air conditioning (3) in the decorative strip of the dashboard (4).

Engage the control panel of the air conditioning (3) in the detents (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Replacement:

Carry out programming/coding.
