Use only the approved TRANSMISSION OIL and fill to the appropriate level.

Failure to comply with this instruction above will result in serious damage to the transmission.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of leakage transmission oil.
Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations
Preliminary work needed:
- Drain transmission oil at oil drain plug. Tightening torque: 23 00 1AZ .
- Remove TRANSMISSION (without wheel alignment!).
Reassemble the vehicle.
Check oil level.

Installation note:
Use only MINI transmission oil MTF 2 or MTF 3.
Required reworking:
- If applicable, remount the NEUTRAL SENSOR .
- After installing the zero-gear sensor, it is necessary to teach in the position of the zero-gear sensor again.
- The adjustment is carried out using the diagnostic system "Service function" (teach in neutral sensor).
- Use new self-tapping screws to tighten the RUBBER MOUNT OF THE TRANSMISSION MOUNT .
Tightening torque 22 32 1AZ .
