Adjust Left And Right Split Door (Cooper Clubman F54)

Attention: 

Do not damage adjoining body parts.

Minor corrections (realignment work) are permitted if the existing adjustment options are not sufficient.

Read contents of BODY, GENERAL .

Observe GAP DIMENSIONS .

The split door needs be provided with all installed parts for correct adjustment.

When the split door is closed, the striker must not tap or scrape against the door lock. Look out for scratch marks.

Loosen striker and remove, If necessary.

Slacken nuts (1) until the split door can still just be shifted.

Tightening torque 41 62 2AZ .

Adjust split door laterally (Y) and vertically (Z).

REMOVE  split door.

Slacken screws (1) until the hinge can still just be shifted.

Tightening torque 41 62 3AZ .

Adjust hinge (2) in longitudinal direction (X).

INSTALL  split door.

After Installation note: 

• Tighten all screws and nuts to specified torque.
• Touch up unpainted surfaces in the appropriate color.
• Adjust the striker. Refer to REPLACE STRIKER FOR LEFT SPLIT DOOR or REPLACE STRIKER FOR RIGHT SPLIT DOOR .
