Replace striker for left split door

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove COVER  on tail panel.

Removal: 

Unscrew the screws (1).

Remove striker (2).

Installation: 

Insert striker (2).

Thread on screws (1).

Adjusting lock striker 

The split doors must be provided with all installed parts for correct adjustment.

Check that adjoining body parts are flush in terms of height and correct if necessary.

Set split door using the GAP DIMENSION .

When the split door is closed, the lock striker must not tap or scrape against the door lock. Look out for scratch marks.

Tighten down screws (1) on striker (2).

Tightening torque 51 24 2AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install TRIM  on tail panel.
