Detaching and attaching/replacing rear spoiler lower part

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove REAR SPOILER .
• Remove STRIP  on rear side window glass.

Removal: 

Unscrew the screws (1).

Remove clips (2).

Disconnect plug connections and expose wiring harness.

Disconnect and expose washer fluid hose.

Guide rear spoiler lower part (3) towards rear out of side clips on left and right and remove.

Installation: 

Replacement: 

• Remount AUXILIARY BRAKE LIGHT .
• Remount SPRAY NOZZLE

Guide rear spoiler lower part (3) forwards into side clips on left and right.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 71 8AZ .

Connect and secure washer fluid hose.

Connect plug connections and secure wiring harness.

Install clips (2).

Required follow-up work: 

• Attach REAR SPOILER .
• Install STRIP  on rear side window glass.
