11 62 000 Removing and installing, sealing/replacing exhaust manifold (N16)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Move front end into ASSEMBLY POSITION .
Remove EXHAUST SYSTEM .
Remove both lambda oxygen sensors. See REMOVING CONTROL SENSOR and REMOVING MONITOR SENSORS .
Detach heat shield.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 62 2AZ .

Release all nuts (1).

Tightening torque: 11 62 1AZ .

Feed out exhaust manifold (1) downwards.

Installation note:

Replace exhaust manifold gasket.

Assemble engine.
