41 12 653 Replacing Luggage Compartment Floor, Left Section (Rear Side Panel And Tail Panel Removed)

STRIP DOWN VEHICLE

Following new body parts are required (see BMW ELECTRONIC PARTS CATALOGUE ):

(1) Luggage compartment floor, left section

Removal

Graphic shows side wall partially removed for purposes of clarity.

Mark severance cut (1) at component edge and cut.

Open welded connections in area (2).

Remove luggage compartment floor (2).

Preparation of new part

Mark severance cut according to vehicle + 10 mm additional material and cut (1).

Open welded connections in area (2).

Remove metal section (3).

NOTE: Weld new part in area (4) overlapping.

Installation

Install new part and weld.
