32 31 020 Removing and installing / replacing lower section of steering column trim

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove upper section of steering column trim  . 
• Remove lower trim from instrument panel  . See 51 45 070 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER SECTION .

Release screws (1).

Release screws (1) on left and right.

Remove steering column trim (2); if necessary, unclip lead for steering column switch cluster.

Installation: 

Tightening torques 32 31 1AZ.
