51 34 195 Removing and installing/replacing door window glass in clubdoor

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove side trim panel on clubdoor .

IMPORTANT: Secure door window glass (3) against falling out.

Release nuts (1 and 2).

Tightening torque 51 34 1AZ.

Feed out door window glass (3) towards rear and remove.

Installation note: Make sure seal (1) is correctly seated on clubdoor. Sealing surface must be clean and free of grease. Replace damaged seal

Door window adjustment (overview)

Door Window Adjustment

GAP DIMENSIONS	Distance / Protrusion
x	Distance door window to side window (rear)
y	Protrusion door window to side window (rear)
z	Distance door window to lower roof edge

Slightly loosen nuts (1).

Tightening torque 51 34 1AZ.

Adjust gap dimensions x and z of door window by sliding in the recess (2).

NOTE: Do not perform this operation until the gap dimensions x and z have been adjusted correctly.

Loosen and adjust nuts (2) until the protrusion y on the door window (1) has been adjusted correctly.

Tightening torque 51 34 1AZ.
