52 24 380 Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right head restraint mount (normal)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear seat backrest. Refer to 52 24 015 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BACKREST FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT (NORMAL) .
Remove rear head restraint. Refer to 52 25 390 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR HEAD RESTRAINT .
Remove backrest cover for rear seat. Refer to 52 24 410 REPLACING BACKREST COVER (NORMAL) FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT .

Release screws (1) and feed out head restraint mounting (2) towards bottom.

Installation:

Guide pins of head restraint mount must engage in openings (3) in backrest frame.
