64 12 520 Removing and installing/replacing control unit with heat exchanger (Thermo Top S)

Remove Combustion Air Blower Unit

Remove complete heater, refer to 64 12 500 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COMPLETE HEATER (THERMO TOP S) .

Remove burner insert, refer to 64 12 535 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BURNER INSERT (THERMO TOP S) .

Release screws and remove combustion air blower unit.

Installation:

Observe tightening torque, refer to 64 12 8AZ in HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 5-SERIES .

Installation:

Replace sealing rings and ensure they are correctly seated.

Release screws and remove control unit with heat exchanger.

Installation:

Observe tightening torque, refer to 64 12 10AZ in HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 5-SERIES .

Installation:

Replace sealing rings and ensure they are correctly seated.
