64 12 535 Removing and installing/replacing burner insert (Thermo Top S)

Remove retaining plate with glow element and flame detector, refer to 64 12 505 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING GLOW ELEMENT (THERMO TOP S) .

Unscrew grub screw (1) until air duct (2) and burner support bracket (3) can be pulled out of the heater together with the burner insert.

Lightly lever out tabs (5) with screwdriver. Pull apart burner support bracket and burner insert.
