63 12 007 Removing and installing/replacing left or right headlight (halogen headlight)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

If necessary, detach spray nozzle of headlight cleaning system. Refer to 61 67 045 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SPRAY NOZZLES FOR LEFT OR RIGHT HEADLIGHT CLEANING SYSTEM .

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release wiring harness retaining clip (2).

Release nuts (3) and remove headlight (4).

Replacement:

Remove halogen bulb for headlight. Refer to 63 99 071 REPLACING HALOGEN-LIGHT BULB FOR LEFT OR RIGHT HEADLIGHT .
Remove halogen bulb for high-beam headlight. Refer to 63 99 001 REPLACING HALOGEN BULB FOR LEFT OR RIGHT HIGH-BEAM HEADLIGHT .

Installation:

Adjust headlights. Refer to 63 10 004 ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS .
