11 15 140 Replace oil separator (N63O0)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove cylinder head cover. See 11 12 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/SEALING LEFT CYLINDER HEAD COVER (N63) and 11 12 006 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/SEALING RIGHT CYLINDER HEAD COVER (N63) .

Removal:

Release screws in the sequence 3 - 1 .

Remove oil separator.

Installation:

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
All engine oil and contamination must be removed from all threaded holes.
Compliance with torque specifications for screw connections is mandatory!

Install the oil separator with duct.

Parts: Replace screws.

Tighten screws in the sequence 1 - 3 .

Tightening torque 11 12 11AZ .

Required follow-up work:

Install cylinder head cover
