51 42 001 Replacing left or right rear door trim panel

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove rear DOOR TRIM PANEL

Following parts must be fitted on new door trim panel (if necessary as new part):

Depending on version:

ROLLER SUNBLIND
FOOTWELL LIGHT
LED for door opener
Tweeter with holder (described below)

Version with tweeter:

Aperture for tweeter must be sawn out.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Saw only through carrier material (2) and not through covering (3).
Cut through covering (3) with knife.

Saw out aperture at mark (1) with 50 mm dia. jigsaw.

Fit holder (1) and secure with lock washers (2).

Saw off all pins (3) to dimension (A).

Dimension (A) = 2 mm

Mount tweeter cover from outside.

Install TWEETER .
