51 16 405 Removing and installing/replacing roller sunblind on side window of left or right rear door

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL

NOTE: Roller sunblind is welded to door trim panel only on initial installation. Roller sunblind is screw-connected on second installation. If applicable, release screws instead of welding spots.

Drill out welding spots (1).

Remove roller sunblind (2).

Installation note:

Completely remove welding pins (1).

Attach sheet metal nuts (2).

Insert roller sunblind in door trim panel and secure with screws and washers.
