52 17 132 Replacing lumbar support set on right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove seat cover with upholstery. See REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT or REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR PASSENGER FRONT SEAT .
Partially remove backrest cover. See REPLACING BACKREST COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT or REPLACING BACKREST COVER FOR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT .

NOTE: Pressure distributor and pneumatic pockets form a single unit and can only be replaced as a single component.

Lever out clips (2).

Thread out valve holder (1).

Installation note:

Replace faulty clips.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Open quick connectors (2) and remove pressure lines.

Unclip complete holder (1) for pressure lines from seat mechanism.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clips.

Release screws (1).

Partially remove belt-deflecting point in order to simplify removal of pneumatic pockets.

Unclip pneumatic pockets (1) with supports on left and right from flexmat.

Feed pneumatic pockets (1) through flexmat towards bottom.

Open quick connectors (1) and remove pressure line.

Thread out hose through backrest frame.
