52 17 110 Replacing left lumbar support (comfort)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unlock quick connectors (2) and detach pressure line.

Detach valve body from pinetree clips.

Installation note: 

Make sure valve body is securely seated.

Replace pine tree clips, if necessary.

Unlock and disconnect quick connector (1).

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Thread out cable and pressure line from fleece padding.

Pop out upper fleece tabs (1) and disengage from spring wire.

Disengage fleece tabs (2) from spring wire.

Thread out lumbar support with fleece padding to the front.

Installation note: 

Engage lumbar support with fleece padding over fourth and sixth wire.

Overview of lumbar support with valve body: 

Installation note: 

Check lumbar support for damage.

Make sure lumbar support is correctly fitted on fourth and sixth spring wire from below.

Air hoses must not be kinked.

Make sure valve body is securely seated.
