51 71 480 Removing and installing/replacing cross reinforcement (on rear axle)

Driving without cross reinforcement is not permitted!
Driving without cross reinforcement is not permitted!
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- REMOVE REINFORCEMENT PLATE
- RELEASE REAR SILENCER and lower slightly
Release nuts of heat shield (2) and lower heat shield (2).
Unscrew nuts (3).
Tightening torque 51 61 14AZ .
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 61 13AZ .
Remove cross reinforcement (4).
