24 13 060 Replacing shaft seal for parking lock shaft (GA7AHSCD)

Special tools required:

IMPORTANT: After completion of work, check TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL .
Use only approved transmission oil: Dexron VI automatic transmission fluid (GM)
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove TRANSMISSION
Remove PARKING LOCK CONTROL UNIT (DSM)

Screw in special tool 24 5 367 until it is firmly connected with radial shaft seal.

Screw special tool 24 5 362 onto special tool 24 5 367 and tighten down.

This pulls radial shaft seal out of transmission housing.

Oil sealing lip on radial shaft seal.

Drive radial shaft seal fully home using special tool 24 0 350 and plastic hammer.
