13 71 195 (N74) Remove clean air pipe

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove CHARGE AIR PIPE , cylinders 1-6
Remove power steering gear. See HYDRAULIC STEERING GEAR or ACTIVE FRONT STEERING HYDRAULIC STEERING GEAR .

NOTE: Graphic shows the left side, the procedure for the right side is identical.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque: see 1AZ in 13 71 AIR INTAKE SYSTEM

Pull clean air pipe (2) from exhaust turbocharger, feed out and remove.

Installation:

Check gasket on clean-air pipe for damage. Replace damaged gasket.

Assemble engine.
