51 47 440 Removing and installing or replacing rear carpet on seat pan

Necessary preliminary work
- Remove all door sill cover strips . See 51 47 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR (INSIDE) LEFT OR RIGHT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP or 51 47 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT (INSIDE) LEFT OR RIGHT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP.
- Remove front seats . See 52 17 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (COMFORT) , 52 14 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT , 52 16 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT or 52 13 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (NORMAL/SEMI-ELECTRIC) .
- Remove complete center console . See 51 16... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CENTRE CONSOLE FOR 3RD SEAT ROW or 51 16 165 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COMPLETE CENTRE CONSOLE .
- Remove rear seat . See 52 26 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING REAR SEAT or 52 26 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT (FOR 3RD SEAT ROW) .
- Remove FOOTWELL LIGHTS (on rear floor trim).
- Remove TRIM ON C-PILLAR at bottom right and left.
Version with bass speaker:
- Remove CENTRAL BASS SPEAKER TRIM on left/right.
Remove holder (1).
Pull back cable (2) with cable holder (3).
Feed out carpet (4).
Installation note:
Make sure openings for air duct and attachment points are correctly positioned.
Remove air duct on left and right.
