Necessary preliminary tasks

NOTE: A 2nd person is required to help remove and install the backrest.

Unlock backrest and tilt forward.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 01AZ .

  1. Raise backrests slightly
  2. Simultaneously pull left and right backrests by jerks and jolts out of center mount
  3. Remove backrests
