51 34 420 Removing and installing/replacing cover on window frame of rear door (front), left or right

Necessary preliminary work: 

Pull off the rubber window seal in the area of the cover and approx. 10 centimeters at the front on the frame trim of the window frame.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 35 4AZ .

Slightly lever out the frame trim on the window border (1) with special tool 00 9 325 .

Installation note: 

If necessary, lock the frame trim on the window border (1) correctly with retaining clips.

Pull the cover off the window border at the side.

Installation note: 

Replace faulty plastic nuts on window border.

Feed in the cover (1) correctly on the window border.
