61 35 950 Removing and installing (replacing) control unit for comfort access system

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim from rear apron . See 51 46 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TOP TRIM ON REAR APRON .
Remove right luggage compartment trim panel . See 51 47 220 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL ON RIGHT SIDE PANEL .
Partially detach insulating mat

Release screws (1) and pull back device holder (2).

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unlock catch (2) in direction of arrow and remove control unit for comfort access system (3) upwards from device carrier (4).

Replacement:

Carry out programming/coding.
