61 13 050 Removing and installing/replacing interior fuse box

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1).

Disconnect plug connector (2).

Open cap (3) and release nut underneath.

For tightening torque refer to 61 13 1AZ in 61 13 FUSE BOX .

Remove battery positive lead from fuse box.

Installation: 

Make sure battery positive lead is correctly seated on fuse box.

Detach plug connectors (1) from back of fuse box (2).

NOTE: Write down colours and positions of plug connectors before removing.

Replacement: 

Remove fuses and relays.

Build date up to 09/2005: 

Replace Interior Fuse Box With One With A New Build Date.
