B3: Check For Short To Ground

With the ignition key in the OFF position, remove the 10A METER fuse, and the instrument cluster, see ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Locate and disconnect the instrument cluster Connector C1. Measure the resistance of the Gray/Blue wire between the right terminal of the 10A METER fuse and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? If yes, service the Gray/Blue wire. If no, replace the 10A METER fuse and go to step B5: CHECK INSTRUMENT CLUSTER POWER SUPPLY  .
