Test L: All Warning Indicators Inoperative

  1. Check fuse. Check the 10A METER fuse located in the interior fuse junction panel. Is the fuse okay? If yes, go to step  4 . If no, go to next step.
  2. Check system. Turn key OFF. Replace the 10A METER fuse. Turn key ON. Inspect the fuse. Does the fuse fail again? If yes, go to next step. If no, go to step  4 .
  3. Check for short to ground. Turn key OFF. Replace the 10A METER fuse. Remove the instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Locate and disconnect the instrument cluster connectors. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Turn key ON. Inspect the 10A METER fuse. Did the fuse fail again? If yes, service the Gray/Blue wire between the interior fuse junction panel and the instrument cluster. If no, go to next step.
  4. Check instrument cluster power supply. Turn key OFF. Disconnect all of the instrument cluster connectors. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Turn key ON. Measure the voltage on the Gray/Blue wire at each of the instrument cluster connectors. Are the voltages greater than 10 volts? If yes, go to next step. If no, service Gray/Blue wires in question.
