	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Remove
1	Lower side window completely.
2	Remove rear door window frame lining.		AR72.12-P-0008S
3	Remove roller sunblind.	Model 223.0/1 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
			AR68.50-P-3402S
4	Remove screw (2) and take off window frame cover (3).	Model 223.0/1 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
5	Remove upper trim strip from window frame.		AR72.12-P-1711S
6	Unclip lower window guide seal (1.4).	Long wedge	Fig 1
7	Remove B-pillar window guide seal (1.3) from front trim strip (6).
8	Remove front window guide seal (1.1) in area of front trim strip (6).
9	Unscrew screws (5) of front trim strip (6).
10	Remove front trim strip (6).
11	Remove rear window guide seal (1.2) in area of window divider (7).
12	Remove screws (4).	Model 223.0/1 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
		Only two screws (4) are installed.
13	Remove window divider (7).	Carefully remove window divider (7) from window channel. The window divider (7) may otherwise be damaged.
		Slide window divider (7) downward, swivel to side, and remove from window channel.
14	Unscrew screw (9) from window guide seal (1).
15	Remove window guide seal (1) with stationary window (8) from window frame.
16	Remove stationary window (8) from window guide seal (1).	When replacing window guide seal (1).
	Install
17	Insert stationary window (8) into window guide seal (1).	When replacing window guide seal (1).
		Ensure that stationary window (8) s seated correctly in window guide seal (1).
18	Wet window guide seal (1) in assembly area of window frame with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
19	Position window guide seal (1) with stationary window (8) on window frame.
20	Screw in screw (9) on window guide seal (1).
21	Wet rear window guide seal (1.2) in assembly area of window divider (7) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
22	Wet window sealing (8) in assembly area of window divider (7) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
23	Install window divider (7).
24	Screw in screws (4) on window divider (7).	Model 223.0/1 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
		There are only two more screws (4) to be installed.
25	Wet rear window guide seal (1.2) above beltline with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
26	Wet rear window guide seal (1.2) below beltline with soapy water.
27	Slide rear window guide seal (1.2) downward into guide rail.
28	Pull rear window guide seal (1.2) back up until it reaches the correct installation position.
29	Insert rear window guide seal (1.2) into window divider (7).	Ensure that rear window guide seal (1.2) is seated correctly.
30	Wet lower window guide seal (1.4) and front trim strip (6) in assembly area of front trim strip (6) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
31	Clip in lower window guide seal (1.4).
32	Install front trim strip (6).
33	Screw in screws (5) of front trim strip (6).
34	Wet B-pillar window guide seal (1.3) in assembly area of front trim strip (6) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
35	Insert B-pillar window guide seal (1.3) into front trim strip (6).	Ensure that B-pillar window guide seal (1.3) is seated correctly.
36	Wet front window guide seal (1.1) in area of front trim strip (6) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
37	Wet front window guide seal (1.1) below front trim strip (6) with soapy water.
38	Slide front window guide seal (1.1) downward into guide rail.
39	Pull front window guide seal (1.1) back up until it reaches the correct installation position.
40	Insert front window guide seal (1.1) into guide rail in area of front trim strip (6).	Ensure that front window guide seal (1.1) is seated correctly.
41	Install upper trim strip in window frame.		AR72.12-P-1711S
42	Position cover (3) and screw in screw (2).	Model 223.0/1 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
43	Install roller sunblind.	Model 223.0/1 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
			AR68.50-P-3402S
44	Install rear door window frame lining.		AR72.12-P-0008S
45	Close side window.
