| 1 | Remove side trim in trunk. | Model 223 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) |

| 2 | Remove subwoofer. | Model 223 with code 811 (High-End sound system) When removing outer left rear lamp unit (E3/18). |

| 3 | Remove nuts (1). | ||
| 4 | Remove outer rear lamp unit (E3/18, E4/18) until the electrical connectors are accessible. | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector from outer rear lamp unit (E3/18, E4/18). | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order. |
