Even the smallest dirt particles in the hydraulic components will lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the transmission. |

| 10 | Pull primary oil pump (55) using remover out of transmission housing (27G). | ||
| Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) (specification 236.21) | Install sleeve (03) of device (02) onto shaft of primary oil pump (55). The sleeve (03) acts as a thrust piece for the assembly sleeve (04) during installation of the primary oil pump (55). Note left-hand thread on shaft of oil pump. Moisten sealing rings of primary oil pump (55) before installing them with oil and mount primary oil pump (55) using device (02). The arrow marks on the primary oil pump (55) and on the transmission housing (27G) must line up during installation. |
