Remove/Install Low Temperature Circuit Cooler - AR09.41-P-6936MFC

WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove radiator. Engine 260 in model 118, 177, 247 with code M016 (Uprated engine)

2 Drain off Low Temperature circuit coolant.   AR09.41-P-6834MFC 
3 Remove the coolant hoses (5) from the Low Temperature circuit cooler (1) and seal the openings with protective covers and suitable stop plugs.   AR09.41-P-1311-01AL 
    SPECIAL TOOL Set of protective covers Fig 3

4 Release the catches (3) and remove the condenser from the Low Temperature circuit cooler (1).    
5 Swivel the Low Temperature circuit cooler (1) back out of the guides (2), lift it up and out and remove it by pulling it forward at the bottom. IMPORTANT Aid of helper required.  
6 Remove the mounts (4) by turning them (arrows). When the Low Temperature circuit cooler (1) is replaced.  
7 Check Low Temperature circuit cooler (1) for damage. If there are problems:

replace Low Temperature circuit cooler (1).
 
8 Install in the reverse order.
