	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.		AR54.10-P-0003MFA
2	Drain coolant of low-temperature circuit.	Only install lower engine compartment lining after leak test.	AR20.00-P-2014MFA
3	Remove refrigerant compressor.	Only install lower engine compartment lining after leak test.	AR83.55-P-5310MFD
4	Remove poly-V-belt tensioning device.		AR13.25-P-3220MFI
5	Remove coolant hoses (1).		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
		Hose clamp pliers	Fig 3
		Record plug	Fig 4
6	Remove cover caps of nuts (2, 3).
7	Remove nut (2) and remove ground line.	Nut, ground line to starter-alternator	*BA15.40-P-1002-02C

8	Remove nut (3) and remove positive line.	Nut, positive line to starter-alternator	*BA15.40-P-1001-02C
9	Release and disconnect electrical connector (4).
10	Remove the screws (5).	Secure belt-driven starter alternator (G2/3) against falling down.	AR15.40-P-0002-01MFA
		Bolt, starter alternator to major assembly carrier/crankcase	*BA15.40-P-1003-02C
11	Remove belt-driven starter alternator (G2/3) downwards.
12	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
13	Perform engine test run and check belt driven starter alternator (G2/3) for proper operation and leak tightness.
