WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove cap from coolant expansion reservoir.    
2 Remove front and center bottom engine compartment linings. Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 260 with code B01 (48V technology) with code M016 (Uprated engine) AR61.20-P-1105MFR
    Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 282 with code B01 (48V technology) AR61.20-P-1105MFA
  Drain off     
3 Remove coolant hose (1) at low-temperature circuit cooler and collect escaping coolant in suitable container.   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ 
4 Attach coolant hose (1) to low-temperature circuit cooler.   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ 
  Pour in     
5 Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system. Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 260, 282 with code B01 (48V technology)
IMPORTANT Work procedure must be complied with when filling cooling system.
IMPORTANT Re-use clean coolant.

INSPECT Check     
6 Check engine cooling system for leak tightness. Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 260, 282 with code B01 (48V technology) AR20.00-P-1010MFD 
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Perform engine test run and check engine cooling system for proper operation.    
INSTALLING Install     
8 Install front and center bottom engine compartment linings. Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 260 with code B01 (48V technology) with code M016 (Uprated engine) AR61.20-P-1105MFR
