With Code M036 (Maybach Version) 

except code 224 (Individual rear seats) 

except code 226 (7-seater with 3rd seat row)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove seat backrests in the rear passenger compartment.   AR91.12-P-1713MEM 
2 Remove trim strips behind rear seats.   AR68.30-P-1460MEM
3 Pull seat cushion (1) upward out of pilot bushing using front wire hoop (2).    
4 Move seat cushion (1) forward and remove. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that rear wire hoop (3) is inserted correctly into wire hoop of armrest (4).  
5 Fold down armrest (4).    
6 Unscrew screws (5), pull cover (6) forward and remove.    
7 Unclip electric line from armrest (4) (arrow).    
8 Remove bolts_(7).    
9 Mark position of screws (8) and unscrew screws (8). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Observe markings.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, armrest to body
*BA91.12-P-1020-03M 
10 Fold armrest (4) upward.    
11 Unscrew screws (9) on left and right side. TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, armrest to body *BA91.12-P-1020-03M 
12 Remove armrest (4) until electrical connectors on rear side are accessible. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
Otherwise electrical lines may be damaged.
 
13 Release and disconnect electrical connectors from rear side of armrest (4) and remove armrest (4) from vehicle.    
14 Install in the reverse order.
