| 1 | Remove the throttle valve actuator. | AR07.51-P-1404MFG | |
| 2 | Remove low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir. | AR20.30-P-4951MFG | |
| 3 | Remove screws (2) and release cable duct (3). | Otherwise damage will occur. |

| 4 | Remove electrical wiring harness (19) from charge-air distributor (1). | Otherwise damage will occur. |

| 5 | Remove electrical wiring harness (7) from charge-air distributor (1). | Otherwise damage will occur. |
|
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (8). | ||
| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (6). | ||
| 8 | Remove screws (4) and remove bleed line (5). | Check seals are correctly seated. Do not coat connections with grease. |

| 9 | Seal opening at charge-air distributor (1) with a suitable stop plug and seal opening on the cylinder head cover with lint-free rag. | Fig 2 | |
| 10 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (11). | ||
| 11 | Remove screw (9) and release purging switchover valve (Y58/1) from the charge-air distributor (1). | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 12 | Remove the bolt (10). | *BA09.41-P-1002-01FA | |
| 13 | Remove purge line (12) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | ||

| 14 | Remove the purge line (13) and the vacuum line (14) from the charge-air distributor (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | ||

| 15 | Remove purge line (13) and vacuum line (14). | ||
| 16 | Remove bleed line (17) from the charge-air distributor (1), place outside of the working area, and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | ||

| 18 | Remove screws of charge-air distributor (1) in reverse order of tightening procedure. | Loosen/tighten screws/bolts of charge-air distributor |
