| 1 | Deactivate easy entry and exit feature. | Model 167 with code 275 (Memory Package (driver's seat, steering column and mirror)) |

| 2 | Turn steering wheel to center position (front wheels in straight-ahead position) and fix steering wheel in place using holding device. | Do not twist steering wheel when steering coupling (1) is removed. Otherwise the clock spring contact will be destroyed. |

Do not use force (hammer blows, excessive leverage). Otherwise the rack-and-pinion steering (2) will be damaged. |

| 10 | Detach steering coupling (1) from steering shaft (4). | ||
| 11 | Remove steering coupling (1). | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
