When removing and installing the engine cover (1) always make sure that only the positions shown in the picture (arrows A) are to be used for pulling during removal or for pressing during installation. This is where the ball heads (2) engage into the ball mount receptacles (3) and where the brackets (4) engage into the clips (5). Do not exert any force to the engine cover at any other points.

The engine cover can get damaged if these instructions are not observed.

During removal of the engine cover (1), individual clips (5) may remain on the brackets (4). Carefully remove these clips (5) from brackets (4) and check for damage. Install clips (5) in vehicle again and ensure tight seating.
