	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover.
		Engine 176 in model 167	AP01.10-P-2405-01M
		Engine 177 in model 167 Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.	AP01.10-P-2405-01E
2	Unclip the electrical line for the oxygen sensor on the right upstream of the catalytic converter (G3/4).
3	Unclip, release and disconnect electrical connector (2).
4	Remove the oxygen sensor on the right upstream of the catalytic converter (G3/4).	Coat thread with heat-resistant lubricating paste. Paste, hot lubrication 1 kg, DBL 6879.20	*BR00.45-Z-1005-06A

5	Cover the tip of the oxygen sensor on the right upstream of the catalytic converter (G3/4) with a protective cover.	When reusing lambda sensor on right before catalytic converter (G3/4). Set of protective covers	Fig 3
6	Seal threaded hole of right lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/4) in catalytic converter with suitable stop plug.	Record plug	Fig 4
7	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
	Risk of burn injuries , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8	Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
