| 2 | Open cable duct (1) at suspension strut (2) and place to one side with connected lines. | ||

| 4 | Unhook electric lines (13) from holder (14) and place to one side. | Model 257 with code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive) except code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL) | |

| 5 | Remove suspension strut (2) from spring link (5). | Observe insertion direction of bolt (6). Bolt (6) must be inserted from the rear towards the front. |

| 6 | Secure steering knuckle (3) against falling down. | ||
