Remove/Install Brake Hose At Rear Axle - Ar42.10-D-0023TS

  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
  Risk of accident  when commissioning the vehicle due to a lack of braking effect when the service brake is operated for the first time after repair work. Before starting the engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in the brake system. AS42.50-Z-0002-01A 
WARNING Risk of injury  . Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.

CAUTION Risk of poisoning  from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  from skin and eye contact with brake fluid Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Raise vehicle.   AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
  Special instructions for lifting and supporting vehicle   AH00.60-N-0100-01TS
2 Remove brake line (3) from respective brake hose (1). NOTESInstallation  :
Do not twist brake hose (1) when installing and make sure that it can move freely.
Otherwise, the brake hose (1) may be damaged and the brake system may fail.
IMPORTANT Seal the connections immediately, collect escaping brake fluid.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Retaining screw, brake line to brake hose

3 Remove brake hose (1) from holder (4).    
4 Remove brake hose (1) from brake caliper (2).    
  Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths IMPORTANT To do so, remove threaded connection of brake hose (1) from brake caliper (2), and remove brake hose (1). Seal connections, collect escaping brake fluid. AH00.00-P-0015-01CW
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Brake hose to brake caliper *BA42.10-N-1002-14TS

5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Bleed brake system.   AR42.10-D-0010TS
