Assess Condition Of Brake Disks - AP42.10-D-4256TS

  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

INSPECT Check     
1 Lift vehicle with lifting platform.    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
2 Check all brake disks (1) on front and rear axle through opening on wheel disk and from the vehicle underside. IMPORTANT Check all brake disks (1) for score marks, cracks, corrosion, ridging on outer edge and soiling (oil, grease).
If necessary,

replace brake disks (1) per axle.
 
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install front axle brake disk AR42.10-D-0230TS 
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install rear axle brake disk
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
If the brake disks (1) are soiled (oil, grease),

clean or replace brake disks (1).
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
If it is not possible to check the brake disks (1) through the opening on the wheel disk or from the vehicle underside,

remove wheels and perform check.

    IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.  
MEASURING Measure     
3 Remove wheels on axle in question. If ridging found on brake disks (1). AP40.10-D-1100TS
4 Measure thickness of brake disks (1). If ridging found on brake disks (1).

    Model 907.13/14/15/22/23/24/25/62/63/64/65/72/73/74/84/85,Brake disk thickness *BE42.10-N-1001-09B 
    SPECIAL TOOL Caliper gauge
If the wear limit is reached or exceeded,

replace brake disks (1) per axle.

REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install front axle brake disk AR42.10-D-0230TS 
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install rear axle brake disk
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.

5 Install wheels of axle in question. If ridging found on brake disks (1). AP40.10-D-1100TS
6 Lower vehicle with vehicle lift.    
CHECK VALUES FOR FRONT AXLE BRAKE DISKS
