Remove/Install Rear Brake Control Cable - Ar42.20-D-0525TS

	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove respective brake shoes of parking brake.		AR42.20-D-0530TS
2	Remove brake cable lock.		AR42.20-D-0530-03TS
		Long-life grease	*BR00.45-Z-1001-06A
3	Remove brake cable (1) from steering knuckle (2).
4	Expose brake cable (1) at electric lines (3).	Detach cable ties (5). The number of electric lines (3) and cable ties (5) can vary. Installation  : Replace cable ties (5).
5	Remove brake cable (1) at brake compensator lever.		AR42.20-D-0520-06TS
6	Remove brake cable (1) from crossmember (4).	To do so, unclip brake cable (1). Sleeve	Fig 1
7	Remove brake cable (1).	Installation  : Route brake cable (1) free of tension and chafing. Otherwise the brake cable (1) may be damaged. For this, route brake cable (1) out of holders (arrows).
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Adjust parking brake.		AR42.20-D-0540TS
