Remove/Install Rear Suspension Strut - AR32.25-P-1016SG

	Remove/install
1	Remove corresponding rear wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
2	Reduce pneumatic pressure of suspension struts (2) using diagnostic system.
			AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
		The complete wheels must not touch the ground. Otherwise the suspension struts (2) can be damaged and subsequently malfunction.
3	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
4	Remove rear shelf.		AR68.30-P-4581SG
5	Remove damping (1) under rear shelf.
6	Remove pressure line (5) from suspension strut (2) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	Pressure line to rear suspension strut/valve block	*BA32.22-P-1011-03F

7	Disconnect electrical connectors (6) and expose electric lines from holder (7).
8	Remove rear axle spring.		AR32.20-P-0232SG
9	Lower vehicle.	Do not lower vehicle too far. Otherwise the folded-down spring link will be damaged.
10	Remove nuts (3) and take out suspension strut (2) in downward direction.	Helper required. Screw/nut, suspension strut at rear to body	*BA32.25-P-1004-04O
11	Remove pressure line adapter (4) from suspension strut (2).	Only when installing new suspension strut (2).
	Check
12	Check suspension strut (2).
		Model 223 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) except code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension) If there is a problem, ↓ Replace suspension strut (2).	AP32.25-P-3255SG
13	Check pressure line adapter (4) on suspension strut (2) for damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ use new pressure line adapter (4).
14	Check pressure line (5) for damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ repair pressure line connection.	AR32.22-P-2001-01S

15	Install in the reverse order.
