Remove/Install Pyrofuse Electrical Connector - AR54.15-P-1100LC

WARNING Risk of injury  during testing and repair operations related to pyrotechnical components Do not expose pyrotechnical component parts to temperatures above 100°C or 212°F. Disconnect current supply when working on such component parts. AS91.00-Z-0008-01A
DANGER Risk of fire  /risk of explosion due to short circuit and escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of (burn) injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte/mist, short circuit and arcing. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death  due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC. No fires, sparks, open flames, or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing, and glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. REMOVING Remove     
1 Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery (2)   AR54.10-P-0003LF 
2 Detach terminal clamp (4) from on-board electrical system battery (2) Model 217.4 AR54.10-P-0005LCA 
    Model 217.3 AR54.10-P-0005LC 
3 Remove cable rail (5)    
4 Release locking pin (6) and detach connector (3) from pyrotechnical separator (7)    
5 Create access to damaged wiring harness of connector (3)    
6 Remove insulation (8) up to behind damaged area of wiring harness    
7 Cut off damaged wiring harness    
INSTALLING Install     
8 Cut repair wiring harness (9) to length according to damaged wiring harness    
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling fumes during soldering. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated. Secure power supply cables. Avoid sources of fire in working area. AS00.19-Z-0002-01A
9 Connect repair wiring harness (9) to wiring harness remaining in vehicle using connector sleeves (10)   AR00.19-P-0100-09A

10 Wrap repair area with insulation tape (11)   AR00.19-P-0100-08A
11 Route wiring harness to pyrotechnical separator (7) and fix in place NOTES
Ensure that wiring harness is routed properly. Otherwise the wiring harness will be damaged by chafing or crushing.
 
12 Connect connector (3) to pyrotechnical separator (7) and lock using locking pin (6)    
13 Install cable rail (5)    
14 Attach terminal clamp (4) to on-board electrical system battery (2) Model 217.4 AR54.10-P-0005LCA 
    Model 217.3 AR54.10-P-0005LC 
15 Connect ground line to on-board electrical system battery (2)   AR54.10-P-0003LF
