Remove/Install Fuse And Relay Module In Rear - AR54.15-P-0001LF

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Disconnect ground line of on-board electrical system battery   AR54.10-P-0003LF 
2.1 Remove right trunk trim (1) Model 217.3, 222

2.2 Remove front luggage compartment lining Model 217.4 AR68.30-P-4602LCA
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

3 Remove body panel between rear wheel wells Model 217.4 AR63.10-P-0661-05LCA
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, partition wall for trunk to body *BA64.10-P-1002-01C 
4.1 Unscrew nuts (2) Model 217.3, 222  
4.2 Remove bolts (20) Model 217.4  
5.1 Remove the cable tie (3) and remove electrical wiring harness from rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) Model 217.3, 222
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace cable tie (3).
 
5.2 Unclip retaining clip (21) from housing (4) Model 217.4  
6 Release housing (4) and carefully remove with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) from support    
7 Remove bolts (6)    
8 Unclip housing (4) carefully from rear fuse and relay module (K40/5)    
9 Remove positive lines (8, 9) from rear fuse and relay module (K40/5)    
Notice  Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-P-0001-01KOA
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, positive terminal to rear fuse and relay module *BA54.15-P-1006-01J 
10 Remove fuse holder (10) from rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) IMPORTANT Release side tabs on fuse holders (10).
The number of fuse holders (10) can vary.
 
11 Release and disconnect electrical connections (11) from rear fuse and relay module (K40/5)    
12 Remove rear fuse and relay module (K40/5)    
13 Detach fuses and relay from rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) When replacing the rear fuse and relay module (K40/5).
INSTALLATION NOTES :
Check for correct assignment in all slots of rear fuse and relay module (K40/5).
Otherwise, components may be damaged or systems may malfunction.
IMPORTANT The number of fuses and relays can vary.
 
14 Install in the reverse order    
15 Read out fault memory using diagnostic unit and clear, if necessary
