	Risk of injury during testing and repair operations related to pyrotechnical components	Do not expose pyrotechnical component parts to temperatures above 100°C or 212°F. Disconnect current supply when working on such component parts.	AS91.00-Z-0008-01A

	Remove/install
1	Close soft top	With soft top open.
2	Move soft top compartment lid (1) to vertical position
3	Secure soft top compartment lid (1) against falling down	: Always remove suitable tool from holes in hinges (4). Otherwise the soft top compartment (1) can be damaged. : Hydraulic system is unpressurized, carefully lay down soft top compartment (1). Otherwise damage can occur. For this purpose insert suitable tools through holes in hinges (4).
4	Shim soft top bow against lowering
5	Remove retaining clips (3) and remove soft top paneling (13)
6	Remove wires (6) from soft top compartment (1)
7	Remove wires (6) from side flaps for soft top (2)
8	Disconnect electrical central connector (5)
9	Fasten electrical central connector (5) on soft top compartment lid (1) with duct tape
10	Mark positioning of locking hook (10) on soft top compartment lid (1) with pen	When reusing soft top compartment lid (1). : Align locking hook (10) in relation to markings.
11	Unscrew bolts (11) and remove both locking hooks (10)	Bolt, locking hook to lock mounting	*BA77.33-P-1005-02A
12	Unhook hydraulic cylinder (7) from linkage lever (9)	Hydraulic cylinder (7) can be unhooked when under pressure. If required, relieve hydraulic cylinder (7) by momentarily actuating soft top.
13	Unscrew bolt (12) from linkage lever (9)	Bearing pin, lock to lock mounting	*BA77.33-P-1004-02A
14	Pull tools out of holes in hinges (4) and lay down soft top compartment lid (1)
15	Carefully open trunk lid with emergency key	Trunk lid and soft top compartment lid (1) should not collide. Damage can otherwise occur.
16	Mark position of hinges (4) on soft top compartment lid (1) with pen	When reusing soft top compartment lid (1). : Align hinges (4) in relation markings.
17	Unscrew bolts (8) on both hinges (4)	Bolt, hinge to soft top compartment lid	*BA77.33-P-1001-02A
18	Close trunk lid
19	Remove soft top compartment lid (1)	Helper required.
20	Remove side flaps for soft top (2)	When replacing soft top compartment lid (1)	AR77.33-P-1020LCA
21	Disassemble soft top compartment lid (1)	When replacing soft top compartment lid (1).	AR77.33-P-1700-01LCA
		Bolt, stop buffer to soft top compartment lid	*BA77.33-P-1010-02A
		Nut, trim piece to soft top compartment lid	*BA77.33-P-1009-02A
		Bolt, lock mounting to soft top compartment lid	*BA77.33-P-1003-02A

22	Install in the reverse order
