| 2 | Remove hydraulic cylinder on soft top compartment lid (4) | AR77.37-P-4175LCA | |
| 3 | Unhook cable (1) on hydraulic cylinder from soft top compartment lid (4) | ||
| 4 | Unclip cable (1) from retaining clips on body and cut open cable tie | ||
| 5 | Loosen jam nuts (2, 3) | *BA77.33-P-1020-02A | |
| 6 | Mark installation position of lock (6) on bracket (10) | Maintain marked installation position Otherwise the gap dimensions of the soft top compartment lid can change. |

| 7 | Unscrew bolts (5) and lay down lock (6) with cable (1) | *BA77.33-P-1003-02A | |
| 8 | Unhook nipple (7) from lock (8) | ||
| 9 | Fasten wire for pulling into nipple (7) | ||
| 10 | Back cable (1) back into trunk | It is necessary to guide both cables (1.1) of cables (1) over guide roller (9) Otherwise proper function is not ensured. |
